• bakugou is most certainly working on his own character (seen in the many character development chapters – which i guess is every chapter if you really think about it), because he knows that’s what needs to happen if he wants to surpass every other hero. it’s not that he’s doing it to impress you (though it’d be a pleasant experience for him if you were impressed), but he for damn sure wants you to be there when he reaches that goal.
• todoroki is a little different though – he does aspire to be a good hero, but he also pushes you to do your best as well. i imagine him to be really informative during sparring sessions, but any advice for his own skills is very appreciative.
• the three of you are almost unstoppable when you’re fighting together. each of you are aware of your strengths and weaknesses, and with three people, it’s much more easier to keep track of any enemy flanks or sneaky villains. maybe you don’t get everybody, but the job is easier needless to say.
• but sometimes feelings can get complex, especially considering the fact that all of you are pro heroes at such a young age. it’s hard to satisfy everybody’s needs with such contrasting personalities. and so because of that, methods have been found to make sure that everybody is doing okay. it’s weird at first, especially for bakugou and most definitely for todoroki (though they’re both learning to rely on their friends for help), but it’s a good feeling to have people close to heart.

Alexis said that her favourite dish is sushi so I’ve spent a significant amount of time and effort mastering how to make all sorts of different kinds of sushi. Even though she has declared sushi as the favourite I notice that she eats all sorts of seafood dishes with enthusiasm. Raw, smoked, grilled, steamed, or deep fried, she loves it. She doesn’t seem to be that big of a fan of red meat with the one exception being Behemoth meat strangely enough.

It was… quite awkward. We were friends for years before we started dating. I had already liked her for a long time before I decided to confess to her. But right before I took my chance there was an incident that caused a rift to open up between us. We were later sent on a mission where cooperation was en essential part in making it out alive. Luckily, we managed to close that distance between us and it was only after that point we went on our first date. Since it was our transition from friends to lovers… it was nerve-wracking. We went to an amusement park and I suspect Alexis was just as nervous as I was since she spilled her entire iced coffee on my shirt. But at the end of the day the date was a success and… I got to kiss her.

I usually spend my time training or studying. When I’m not doing that I visit my mother. I know it probably doesn’t sound very exciting but Ayano joining me for these kinds of things means a lot to me. I’m planning on making this relationship last and since we both aspire to become pro heroes I’m happy that we are already able to combine our training and grow stronger together. But as for my favourite thing to do… Well… I find it really difficult to relax and just unwind… I’m always so stiff and wound up. The only way I can ever really catch a break is by sleeping. But when Ayano and I are alone in my room and just cuddling I can feel all that stress just melting away. Those moments are priceless to me.

Hmm… I don’t really keep an eye out for vacation spots but I’d want to take her somewhere where she’d be happy to spend time with me. Alexis has shown a preference for large beautiful cities that are bustling with life and things to do. The first place that comes to mind is Altissia, the capital city of Accordo. Photographing the cityscape, trying out the cuisine, wine and cheese tasting, shopping, and unwinding at a spa all feels like wonderful things to do, just the two of us.

In the beginning I really didn’t care about anyone else in class so Ayano was just another extra whom I didn’t even bother learning the name of. I noted that she was attractive and that was about it. It wasn’t until the League of Villains attack on UA that I really… noticed her. That Shigaraki guy managed to grab her by the arm and… I-I wasn’t scared or anything! But the thought of seeing one of my classmates die right in front of me without even knowing her name… didn’t sit well with me. But then she severed her own arm like it was nothing and it slowly started re-generating. Being able to almost instantly re-generate wounds and lost body parts is an extremely powerful quirk, but she had never told anyone about it before that point. I think I had my first real thoughts on her when I asked her about it. Normally she’s always so emotionless but when I talked to her she seemed so sad and I realised that she’s much more mature than the rest of our classmates. I started watching her more closely from then on, but I never would have guessed that we’d be together.

hey shouto, what's your favorite memory with ayano? what's one thing you associate with them?

I think… my favourite memory with Ayano was when I took her to see my mother for the first time. I was really nervous leading up to their meeting because I was afraid that they wouldn’t like each other. But my mother loves Ayano and Ayano is going out of her way keep my mother happy and accepting of our relationship. I think that because Ayano lost her own mother she has missed receiving that motherly love… even if she doesn’t admit it.

One thing I associate with Ayano? Hmm… Sweets I guess? Ayano really loves sweets and I often see her snacking on candy bars, chocolate and the like. Whenever I pass by bakeries that display cakes and other baked goods in the window I always think of her and which ones she’d be the most excited to try.

Well… I always get told I’m “dense” and “can’t read between the lines”. My body doesn’t have more density than any other person… And when writing on lined paper you write between the lines, which means you also read between the lines. So I don’t get what they mean. Sometimes when I’m conversing with someone they will suddenly look uncomfortable but that never happens with Ayano. I’ve heard people call her “blunt” and “callous”, but I guess that means she’s a good match for me? Because I always feel like we understand each other. Whenever I’m confused she does a good job at explaining things to me. I love that I can communicate with her so well.

Since Ayano and I are in the same class and share schedule we have plenty of opportunities to spend our free time together. We both like to dance and we take dancing classes together on some weekday evenings. But we spend the most time together on Saturdays after school. Ayano really likes Shibuya and since she lives there and I travel through there on my way home we stop and spend a lot of time going shopping, playing at arcades, and eating at cafes. I’m not that into shopping but she’s so sweet when she finds something that makes her happy.
